“Time Shift” is an exciting LEDconcept watch that displays the time and date by ‘beaming’ digits onto the display. The 6-digit time and date are displayed by using the slider controls to make them seemingly materialise and dematerialise by using animated LEDs. Pushing the left slider forward turns thedisplay on and, at the same time, initiates the materialisation of the time. Pushing the right slider forward simultaneously turns off the time and initiates the materialisation of the date. To revert to the time, just pull the right slider back. Both the time and date start at the 12 o’clock position and progress in a clockwise direction.
Time Shift has an alarm and is USB rechargeable via a computer. The display can be set to “always on” and the digits can be made to materialise and dematerialise in a variety of different ways. There is a “random” option for displaying the animations. There are various lights strewn around the watch in keeping with the sci-fi theme which could be utilised for various modes or functions. The watch is available in several different colour combinations.
